    Piercing of cartridge pain
I got my ear cartridge pierced 2 days ago and I've read in sites that there should be no pain after 2 days , but when I sleep on it or when I clean it and twist it around it still hurts , but there's no redness or swelling, when will the pain go away?

It can't be that much pain ! You will get through it. You are looking for the right things, redness and swelling, if none after two days, then you are healing.

    Hi,
I can relate to you because I had my cartilage pierced. It has been two weeks since I had mine done and it still hurts a good bit when I turn it but not much when I sleep on it now, I really can't feel it. Please give it time to heal because it seems as though everything is normal!

Whoever told you 2 days was full of it. I have had my cartilage pierced 4 times, and it always took at least a month for the tenderness the subside. In fact my last one was done 3 years ago, and every so often it still bothers me if I lay on it wrong. As long as it is not bulging, or severely red, it should be fine. Try rinsing it with a mixture of saline and seasalt... it will not burn, but help make your body accept the piercing...

Yes. It will. I've had mine pierced four times. And it can hurt like hell for a long time. It probably feels like it won't ever stop hurting, but it will. Just give it some time.
