    I heard about this on the radio-----
    That you could contact immigration and if you could pass the test of reading and writing english that they would grant citizenship. Is this true?

    No there is no truth to that, citizenship is a long process, you do have to know how to read and write english as part of the requirements.

    There are new immigration laws being discussed in congress right now that would allow the millions of illegals get registered as legal workers, and start them on the immigration process, but they are not passed yet
