Please give me some advise. I had a miscarrige 12 months ago this Saturday and I still can't get pregnant! I have been off the pill for 6months. My periods are near enough regular but I still have no joy! My partner and I have worked out ovulation dates and the works but still no joy! I did not have a D&C though so I am wondering if that could be the reason , do I need to be cleaned out properly? Afew of my friends think so but I'm not sure. I was also told about 2years ago that one of my ovaries was swollen but was told it was nothing to worry about. I am really gettihg towards the end of my teather! My sister in Law has just found out she is pregnant and it was totally unplanned and I am really happy for her but struggling with my jealousy! I just need some answers! Please help!

It can take helathy couples up to a year of trying before conceiving. In addition it can take up to 12-18 months to get the pill fully out of your system... I would suggest going to your doctor and getting a clean bill of health. Since you did miscarry, there could be another problem... but then again, it could be nothing, and it is just taking some time... good luck. I found that it is easier to just forget the calendars, thermometers and kits, and just go away and forget about even trying to conceive... it will happen. Stressing about it will only throw your cycle out of whack...

Thank you for your input. Im going to book myself in with the docs tomorrow and see if I can talk to them as well ! My last doc didn't really listen so we will see!:)
