Can someone please help? My drain is stuck. It's twist up drain. I have had to use a piece of metal to keep it out open so the water can drain. Any ideas on how to fix?
Stuck tub spout

I have a front threaded tub spout that I need to replace since the diverter is old and is not working properly. I've tried using a screwdriver in the spout end to twist off spout but I can't break it loose. It is the original tub spout ~ 9 years. Any ideas?

I installed a new tub and the drain opening is an inch closer to the rear wall than the old tub. My problem is the PVC piping for the drain is also an inch off whereby the overflow/drain vertical pipe doesn't quite match up with the drain pipe.
