    Fizzing in toilet tank
We are having 2 problems with our toilets.

    1. We have 2 toilet tanks that "fizz" when refilling, almost looks like carbonation. A few minutes after refilling, it stops but still looks slightly cloudy. Could this be caused by hard water? The house is only 3 years old.

    2. The other toilet makes a loud groaning noise after refilling.

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

Changing out the ballcocks may be one solution but I prefer locating t6he cause and repairing it. On both toilets shut the water off, remove the three screws holding the stem and float assembly and open up the ball cock. Pre the washer out and turn it over. Now turn the water back on for a moment to flush out the supplies. Reassemble and test. Better now? Regards, Tom
