    Condo Board Bylaw Violations
I live in DC, and we have a condo board president that has gained control of our bank accounts, refuses to allow the Treasurer (who was doing the BEST job a condo association could ask for) to handle the bills as he had for the last 6 months. Our finances were ruined by a "professional management company" that ran our finances in the ground. Our treasurer got us out of financial ruin only to have a group of members usurp the board, and take control of everything. Our bylaws are very clear on the duties of the officers, and how we are to enter into contracts. Our Association doesn't have a lot of money and now she is entering us into another contract with a "professional" management company, with no plan how to pay for it. Is there anything we can do?

Get a majority of the other members together and file for an emergency hearing for a restraining order to prevent the board from taking any action.
