    Water heater white pipe
    Yes there is a white pipe coming down through my water heater very thin white pipe and is leaking water.

    This is called a "dip tube" and is there to direct incoming cold water to the bottom of the tank where it will not temper the hot water on top. If it's leaking from the top replace it. Good luck, Tom
