    What is this?
I just recently moved into a new townhome and discovered some pretty flowers growing along the shaded side of my fence. They are about 12 inches high and have dark leaves with light green around the edges. They have 5 petals that are a light purple. Almost a lavendar color. I would love to plant some more of these and my dad now wants some as well, but we have no idea what they are. Can anyone help me figure out what the name of them are?

Take a flower and leaf of the plant to a nursery and have it identified that way.

Thanks, but I looked it up on the internet last night and finally found out what it was. It is a bigleaf periwinkle.

I use that as ground cover and have lots all over my garden. It is also called plumbago.
