    Home Based Music Business
Hello I live in Chicago I have my first client . I have created original music for the project which is a short duration length.I am to present three examples by Monday May 14,2007 what would be a fair charge for my services. I composed, performed, arranged, edited and mixed the compositions and processed filed conversions for the client . The client seeks ownership of the track which I won't have a problem with as long as a receive full compositional credit, in this case would you calculate a buyout fee or license the music to the client .I have been composing a while but this is my first client in this media arena.
Thank you very much for your assistance .

What is the music to be used for.

If it is the web page of a local business, or a local car company TV add,
Or it is a national advertising.

Are they a recording star that will be recording this as thiers?

Basically you can buy songs all day in Nashville for 100 dollars and they are glad to get it, or songs are sold for 50,000.
