Can anyone please help me... I am looking on how to use html's and more... I have been on forums and I see people that make larger letters when writing and I don't know how to to do that. I also see how they paste pictures onto the forum pages that they write and I am just so confused and I feel so dumb that I don't know how to do any of it. I have been searching the internet trying to see what I am doing wrong and to try to get some knowledge but so far I can't find anything out. I have also seen people who can make hearts when writing and I have been wondering on how to do this also. If anyone can please help me I wouls so appreciate it.

Well, the first thing is that you aren't dumb and you aren't wrong. You probably just need some practice.

Each website is different. Most of the sites that I am a member of have a thing where you can edit your profile. Some will allow you to add pictures and graphics if you like. I would go exploring into that if I were you.

Another thing is this particular site that we are on has an Answer this Question in blue and also an Answer this Question encased in orange. You have more options using the latter case.

My suggestion would be to carefully look at a page you are on and just try some things to see how they work.

They do brilliant tutorials on HTML right from the basics! This will show you how to make big / colourful writing!

To post a picture or photo into a forum, you need to upload it to a photo sharing service;

Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

Is used by most people! Once you upload the photo, photobucket will actually create the HTML you need to use in the forum, and put it under the photo for you! All you need to do then is copy and paste it! Easy!

I don't really understand the hearts thing? Do you mean on MSN? Or hearts made of other characters?

As Clough said, you're far from dumb! You've worked out how to use a PC and the Internet and got to this site, which is far smarter than most people I know! HTML is like everything else, you need to learn and practice it over time to become good at it!

On some places, when you write, you have option of font sizes enter larger or smaller
Number accordingly.
Also when choosing Font(bold, gothic, etc) look at bottom of list for wingdings, zingbats or something like that. Then type all letters to see symbol produced. Also press shift,hold down, then go through alphabet again taking note of interesting characters.
Shift J might be real smiley face (Not made from charactes), there is a jet, I think a heart.
