Hello my name is Amber. I am 20 years old. I am currently 5 days late on my period but I have been having period like cramps for about 2 weeks now. My breast and nipples have been tender for about a week and a half. I have been having frequent urination also. I took a home pregnancy test when I was 2 days late and it came back negative. If I am pregnant that would be great. So when should I retake the pregnancy test to find out if I'm pregnant?

Amber.I've come across somewhere that even if you're the home pregnancy test shows negative,there are still chances of you being pregnant.Wait for a week and if you still don't get your mensus take the test again.Good luck.

Yes I would wait another week. The best time to test is 1-2 weeks after a missed period... and even then you may not get a positive if your hormone levels aren't high enough. If your period has not come after 3 weeks I would call a doctor, just to be sure there is not another problem. They can also do a blood test to determine pregnancy.

Well I took a pregnancy test May 11th and it came up positive... so Monday May 14th I'm going to the clinic to be sure!!
