    Doubled up on pill once, got period early?
    I have been on birth control for about a year now and have never had any problems. Today is Wednesday and last Saturday I was out and forgot to take my pill, but I doubled up the next day. I'm not supposed to get my period until next Wednesday, so I got it a week early. I was just wondering if I need to continue taking this week of pills? Also, since I got my period, should I skip the sugar pill week and begin a new pack? I'm just really confused. Thanks! Also, is there anything that I should be worried about... like pregnancy?

    It sounds as though you have what is called break through bleeding. I am surprised that you did not get sick as a dog when you "doubled up" on your pill.

    Continue to take your pills as prescribed, do not stop and keep taking the placebo pills, then start your cycle all over again, but be sure not to miss any more pills.

    Understand that the pill is birth CONTROL on birth PREVENTION, there is always a risk of prgnancy, pill or not, and when you miss a pill you increase your risks. Take them every day at the same time every day.
