    Lawnmower - Briggs 7 HP - no spark to plug
    The plug is not sparking on my Briggs 7 HP lawnmower, what is wrong, what should I check?

    Isolate the coil by finding the black wire coming from under the flywheel. Make sure nothing is connected to it. If you still have no spark it will be a bad ignition coil. Remove fan shroud and make sure it is not grounding through same black wire anywhere, if not replace coil.
