Bubble on the belly of my staffordshire terrior
My dog Bailey has had a bubble on his stomach for about 2 months. It had a small hole the other day so I squeezed it and blood, puss and what looked like dead fleas came out. He had a bad case of flease about 4 months ago. I am wondering if maybe a flea got under his skin and laid eggs. What can I do to remedy this. It is still a bubble. The next day it was back to the same size. I put triple antibiotic ointment on it when I was done. Please help. He is my best friend. He seems OK otherwise. Thank you

I think it is time to see the vet. I don't think fleas lay eggs under the skin, but some other things do.

Jenu, I agree completely with labman. When the bubble first appeared, you should have brought him to the vet. Triple antibiotic ointment only keeps a wound from getting infected. It does not treat the actual problem. You need a vet to examine your dog, make a diagnosis, and give you whatever medication is necessary to rid your dog of the problem.

Please post back and let us know what the vet says. I am very interested in hearing what your dog is suffering from. I am not familiar with the symptoms you are describing. I hope your dog is okay.
