My Kenmore dishwasher stopped draining about 2 weeks ago. After the cycle has completed there is about 2" of water in the bottom. If I turn the knob to the last drain cycle the water will drain.

My Kenmore dishwasher stopped draining about 2 weeks ago. After the cycle has completed there is about 2" of water in the bottom. If I turn the knob to the last drain cycle the water will drain.

It sounds like the drain hose may be clogged, check where it exits, perhaps if the hose clamp is too tight at the disposer connection it may restrict the flow. Not knowing more about the drain connection, that's the best I can do.
Need more info!
