    Hampton bay remote control installation
Hi, I just purchased a hampton bay remote for my hampton bay ceiling fan. I've been searching everywhere for the answer but no luck. The remote has a black, white, and blue on one side, and on the other side it has a black and a white wire. The only wires coming from my ceiling is a black, white, black/white and a green wire. I understand that the black goes to black, white to white, blue to black/white and the green is the ground. But the other two wires on the remote(white and black) where do they go? Any help is appreciated:D

Ok, the three wires from your fan connect to the set of three on the remote:

    Black - black
    White - white
Blue - blue or black/white striped

The other two wires from the remote connect to the ceiling
    Black - black
    White - white

    All grounds connect together.
