    Small claims court dates
    I have filed the original plaintiffs calim, how long do I have before I must file both affadavit of service and notice of default judgement ?

    Is there an expiry, and would I have to begin the process from scratch

    I don't understand. Most small claim courts have a booklet that details what you can do.

    If you file suit against someone, you have to server them notice. Once served you can request a court date.

    Small claims court rules and procedures vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Which state or province did you file the claim in?
