i have tanish, medium brown skin....and when i shave my legs, it turns reddish, and later dark brown...y???? is my skin that sensitive? it bugs me cause its not all over my leg but on my shin. what can i do to get rid of this annoying, dark spots??!

Shaving in particular facilitates razor bumps and ingrown hairs because it “sharpens” the hair end that then pierces back into the skin resulting in the characteristic redness and inflammation, which leads to dark spots or remaining hair stumps.

I think you should stop shaving until the dark spots go away. As for the discoloration, try using an alpha hydroxy cream or lotion on it. Alpha hydroxy is used to exfoliate dead skin cells and improve the appearance of scars or dark spots.
