    Shower faucet
I have a Price Phixter 3 year old, single handle shower/tub faucet that leaks hot water - cannot fully shut it off. Can ayone tell me if this is a common problem or can an adjustment of some sort fix it? Someone told me it may need a new cartridge - is this correct?
    Thanks

I would say that it may need a new cartridge, or if you have water that might have sand in it maybe a good cleaning out of the faucet and cartridge would do the trick.
