Turn off the AC unit and leave just the fan on, this will defrost the coil. When you turn on the AC does the blower come right on? Is the air cold? You could have several possibilities that are causing ice. Air flow through the coil, is the coil clean, is the fan running at the normal speed, is your filter clean? If all of these items are OK, your system could be low on refrigerant.

Im sure someone messed with this thing. But it's a kenmore side by side fridge about a 1 1/2 years old. Putting the arm in the down positions usually triggers that unit to fill the aisle with water and then proceeds to freeze to make ice. Well that's not happening and I can't find the manual at...

In addition to the jacuzzi issue, my ice maker won't produce ice on its own. The family who lived here before me never had it connected; the refrigerator is not quite 2 years old. It's a Kitchen-Aid. What causes Ice Dams on the front of my house? I've used a snow snow rake to clear snow back 10 feet. House is a cape with a fairly steep roof. :(
