    My husband trying to evict me
    My husband and his best friend are trying to evict me and gave me 30 days to move out. I don't have enough money to move out and I have a sick dog. Is this Legal? They threatened to change the locks etc... I live in Oregon and don't know the laws. The house is in my husbands name and he may have put it in his friends name as well.

    Special note: They are not citizens and my husband does not have his permanent green card they have threatened to get me back if I divorce. I know this is very complicated. I feel terrible.

    You need to see a divorce lawyer. Do it tmmw.

    They cannot change the locks on you, but they could file a formal eviction against you. But they would have to go to court to do so. If they do change the locks, you will need to call the police to get you back in. So I suggest you head this off by speaking to a divorce atty.
