As for Trump ;I mentioned in a previous posting 1. they should take his phone away . 2 he needs a some help inside the administration and in the Repubs to have a rapid response messaging team . Forget Truth Social . Only the Trump bots go there . His messaging should be controlled and distributed to X Fakebook and all the social media . In addition he should have an army of JD Vance and Ron DeSantis types (people with brains ) who go on the compliant press networks to interview and write commentary . He has enough on his plate . He has to start delegating some of these responsibilities .

If the Repubs take big losses in the mid-terms then he will be a lame duck spending his time dodging impeachment bullets.

He says the message came from staffers . That would be plausible for anyone else. I don't believe for one second that he relinquishes any control of his Truth Social posts . It is him doing things impulsively .

I do think there was an over exaggerated reaction. The video was an infantile lion king satire that was cut and pasted to show only the part where the Obamas were monkeys. But in itself even without that ;it was silly of him to post it and unworthy of the President of the US to engage in that type of satire.

Calling an opponent a transformer is extreme in 2026 .Imagine the implications back in 1796 .

This all goes back to my posting today. There is good news to share . But Trump is too busy being the President to effectively deliver the message . He has to stop controversial postings . He needs a script when he speaks . Lately his comments are rambling and incoherent. He has to turn off the aggression. It is a turn off.

Let's put it this way. When Tim Scott calls his a racist ;he has a problem.

In short, he needs to stop acting like a middle schooler. His social media posts should be intentional and well thought-out. He needs to play to win.

I just went on Truth Social . Mostly what he does is repost . When he does comment he does not go far enough in touting achievement. He should hand that stuff over to others who would expand on it.
He should have a monitor to check reposts before . He did not create that silly Lion King video . I'm sure he does not know how . He saw it and did not have the discipline to leave it alone.

Others like this comment about Tennessee does not go deep into the policy.

One thing is clear . Even though I don't believe Trump is a racist .I have cited why I believe this in the past with both the associates he has and the polices he enacted . But all the false things said about him will now be impossible to dispute. This incident is being pounded and will be pounded throughout the rest of his term.

He really needs to stop this . Yesterday he threatened to block the opening of the Gordie Howe bridge that would like Detroit to Windsor Ontario. This is a bridge that will be 6 lanes ;a pedestrian land and a bicycle lake ......... ALL PAID FOR BY CANADA !!!

This will improve by hours the amount of trade between the US and Canada ..... AND Trump approved and supported the bridge in his first term .

Then it takes days or longer to find out that he had a questionable motive for his Howe bridge intervention. Commerce Sec Howard Lutnick (who did go the Epstein island ) met with Matthew Moroun, who privately owns the Ambassador bridge that spans the same area. Were political favors being doled out ;and at what price ? And how will this whole incident play out in the upcoming Michigan Guv race where former GOP Rep Mike Rogers has a chance to flip the state ?
