The news this weekend was that an ICE raid in Georgia's new Hyundai plant netted an arrest of almost 500 people . Most of them were South Koreans. This came shortly after SKs President Lee Jae-myung and Trump had a sit down in the Oval Office.

These workers were hired by a sub-contractor for the construction of the plant. This is not bringing in the best and brightest to fulfil jobs Americans won't do or have the technical skills to perform. Even if it is true that there is a shortage of American construction workers the sad truth is that by hiring illegals at lower wages is a huge advantage for the employer

In this case the employer should face jail time.

The workers detained abused the visa system and deportation is fair punishment . They were on a guest short term ESTA B! visa that does not permit manual labor .They overstayed their visas which in itself is cause or deportation .
