That's what it was ;a state of the union address. He spoke of a golden age of freedom, prosperity, security, health, enterprise, and creativity.

The Dems have a hopeless case of TDS . Instead of celebrating America they sat on their hands (except when he said the US had sent $hundreds of billions to Ukraine. )
They did not even applaud when he said the master mind of the Afghanistan Abbey Gate attack had been arrested . They did not applaud a 13 year old cancer survivor. They did not stand for Laken Riley's mother. They did not applaud when Trump announced that he named a wildlife sanctuary for Jocelyn Nungaray ;a 12 year old girl who was raped and murdered by an illegal alien.

I guess they would've thunderously applauded if he said the US should support DEI, open borders, censorship, killing babies , the green new steal and transformer medical procedures. Tout American prosperity ? Their silence was deafening.

The Dems maybe don't recognize the irony. They wore pink (as in commie pinko ?) to represent the erosion of women's rights right after Senate Dems blocked a bill that would prevent men from playing in woman's sports .

In a sad ending ; newly seated Dem Rep from Texas Sylvester Turner (after winning the seat held previously by Sheila Jackson Lee ) began to feel ill during the address. Hours later he passed away.

He had previously served as Mayor of Houston. He was 70 .
