It is my contention that this is a new oligarchy that may very well replace the old established oligarchy. Joe did not warn us of the old origarchy because he was a part of it (or at least the puppet being controlled by it)

My warning about the new oligarchy is that until they were tools of the old oligarchy who got tired of the intimidation campaign waged against them . The story about Vivek leaving DOGE is about conflicting goals which I don't think should really be in conflict. Vivek wanted DOGE to concentrate on regulatory reform. Musk won out with a spending cut agenda. They are not conflicting goals Regulatory reform would help achieve cost cutting .


My best guess is that it was an ego conflict and Musk has Trump's ear.

Apparently Trump insiders were annoyed with Vivek's outspokenness. (now there's a revelation ) This came to a head during the internal MAGA debate about H1B visas . Vivek made a long rant on X basically trashing the US work ethic and how America "venerated mediocrity " . That is a valid opinion but unwise to state to folks who are representing or trying to represent the working class.

Vivek also advocated for DOGE to operate outside the government. Trump appears to be adding it the official bureaucracy .DOGE is working now inside the White House reporting to Chief of Staff Susie Wiles .

Waiting for the details When it was an outside advisory group Musk said there would be no compensation pay. But DOGE will have staffing and I assume they will be on the payroll.
