Hunter Biden pardon proves Trump right about Justice Dept
Even Clueless Joe agrees they are corrupt and conduct unfair political prosecutions .

Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter. From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department’s decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted. Without aggravating factors like use in a crime, multiple purchases, or buying a weapon as a straw purchaser, people are almost never brought to trial on felony charges solely for how they filled out a gun form. Those who were late paying their taxes because of serious addictions, but paid them back subsequently with interest and penalties, are typically given non-criminal resolutions. It is clear that Hunter was treated differently.

The charges in his cases came about only after several of my political opponents in Congress instigated them to attack me and oppose my election. Then, a carefully negotiated plea deal, agreed to by the Department of Justice, unraveled in the court room – with a number of my political opponents in Congress taking credit for bringing political pressure on the process. Had the plea deal held, it would have been a fair, reasonable resolution of Hunter’s cases.

No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter’s cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is my son – and that is wrong. There has been an effort to break Hunter – who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution. In trying to break Hunter, they’ve tried to break me – and there’s no reason to believe it will stop here. Enough is enough.

For my entire career I have followed a simple principle: just tell the American people the truth. They’ll be fair-minded. Here’s the truth: I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice – and once I made this decision this weekend, there was no sense in delaying it further. I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision.

Statement from President Joe Biden | The White House

for crimes "he has committed or may have committed or taken part in" since Jan. 1, 2014.

A lot of that is Joe projection on the political prosecutions against Trump that he and the Dems have been engaged in for most of a decade.

Let the Dems make issue with Pam Bondi and Kash Patel's mission to reform the Justice Dept to end political prosecutions once and for all.

Remember ........ No one is above the law <sarc>

Look for Joe to pardon the rest of the Biden Crime Family also. Remember Hunter was paid $30 million by the Chinese for introductions . The money was spread throughout the crime family.

There is a strange timing of this . Joe did this pardon last night . That means he knew it would be the top story on Monday morning . Why does he want this big FU to the nation to be the lead story this morning ? It usually means something more important is being buried . What would that be ?

That is an open question . With Joe it could be anything. He keeps on sticking his middle finger to the world as he exits. His escalation of wars in Ukraine and the Middle East to bring WWIII on is my best guess. Friday he was seen shopping with Hunter, carrying a blatant anti-Israel book by Palestinian-American historian Rashid Khalidi. The book accuses Israel of conducting apartheid and “a colonial war waged against the indigenous population by various parties to force them to relinquish their homeland.”

It was no accident . He meant to be photographed holding the book.

That is certainly true. How many people can say they got their dad to pressure the FBI to squash a story about a laptop hard drive that would have proven to be a PR nightmare?

The pardon includes all the Burisma charges . Trump was impeached for daring to ask Ukraine to investigate the charges.

Joe better start making blanket pardons to his entire crime family.
Included are his brother James ;Hunter's former and current wife ;Hunter's mistress and Beau's widow ;at least one grandchild ;and probably more family and friends in their money laundering scheme.

The scheme involved shell companies and many bank transfers

These complicated and seemingly unnecessary financial transactions appear to be a concerted effort to conceal the source and total amount received from the foreign companies,”

The starting date of Jan. 1, 2014, in the Biden pardon was surely not chosen randomly: Hunter Biden joined the board of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian gas company, in April 2014, while his father was vice president. Republicans have accused the younger Biden of illegally profiting off his position on that board.

Since Clueless Joe opened the door to blanket pardons ,I have a couple suggestions .

    1. Trump can pardon everyone from his 1st term who were prosecuted ;convicted and served jail time because they were pursued simply because they were in the Trump camp.

    2. Pardon everyone jailed ,convicted ,indicted or under investigation for the January 6 riot.

former Polish deputy minister Piotr Kulpa alleged that up to half of the aide the US targeted to Ukraine has been embezzled and laundered through Ukraine for the Dems .

US aid programs are a mechanism to “write off large sums of money that finance shady systems under the Democratic Party’s control,” he alleged. The incoming Trump administration could review government finances and discover the truth that “Ukraine got very little” compared to the amounts mentioned in public statements, Kulpa claimed.

Special Council David Weiss has refused Hunter's request to have his indictment dismissed. He says that a pardon does not erase the charge.
As stated above, the defendant did not docket the pardon nor has the government seen it. If media reports are accurate, the Government does not challenge that the defendant has been the recipient of an act of mercy. But that does not mean the grand jury’s decision to charge him, based on a finding of probable cause, should be wiped away as if it never occurred. It also does not mean that his charges should be wiped away because the defendant falsely claimed that the charges were the result of some improper motive. No court has agreed with the defendant on these baseless claims, and his request to dismiss the indictment finds no support in the law or the practice of this district. For the foregoing reasons, the defendant’s motion to dismiss the indictment should be denied.

This is what happens when we allow pols to act as though there are multiple money trees growing all around D.C. There is no accountability since, after all, the supply of money is unlimited.

2014 the emperor's regime (of which Joe was VP) engineered the revolution in Ukraine aka the Maidan revolution that ousted Yanukovych (who had refused to sign a trade agreement with Europe and had signed on to an economic cooperation with Russia) . Zelensky was installed. .Hunter was sent there to establish the crime family's money laundering operation. How much US money has been funneled through ? My guess is close to $200 billion at this point. It also began a 10 year coverup .
Trump's efforts to expose it led to impeachments and assassination attempts.

There is a lot to undo . Not sure it can be done. There are Jan 6 defendants in jail for taking selfies at the Capitol They were not pardoned..There are abortion protesters in jail

Joe's open pardon of Hunter for any crime he may have committed (only time this happened before was the blanket pardon of Nixon) ;opens the door for Joe's next outrageous act.

He is pondering blanket pardons for a number of his cronies in the deep state who may come under legal jeopardy under Trump. Some of the names floated were herr Doctor Fauci ,Adam Schiffhead ;and even Liz Cheney .

Former Nixon crony turned rat John Dean wants Joe to extend blanket pardons for anyone in the DOJ who targeted Trump .

John W Dean: "Biden should keep going with his pardons: Trump, Jack Smith & team, Mueller & team, and a blanket pardon for all on Trump’s enemies list for any and all political statements before December 25, 2024! Merry Christmas:-). Take the wind out of retribution/revenge!" — Bluesky

This was an abuse of the President's pardon authority when Ford granted it to Nixon . It will be an abuse of the authority under Clueless Joe ;and it will be an abuse of the authority if Trump in turn does blanket pardons.

The Dems are concerned that Trump will wage retaliatory lawfare against them while they completely ignore the lawfare they waged against Trump ;his family; and his cronies .

Meanwhile Dem House leader Hakim Jeffries has a good point.

House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) invoked Hunter Biden’s pardon this week in calling on the president to, on a case-by-case basis, spare “the working-class Americans in the federal prison system whose lives have been ruined by unjustly aggressive prosecutions for nonviolent offenses.”
Biden White House Weighs Preemptive Pardons for Potential Trump Targets - POLITICO

That would include those sentenced to harsh drug sentences that Joe promoted when he was a Senator . Trump in 2018 signed the 'First Step Act' which reduced drug sentences But many convicts who would fall under the new guidelines are still in jail under the Joe era harsh drug laws ..

I would also include all the non-violent January 6 protesters .

update Schiffhead does not want a pardon He made a name for himself duking it out with Trump .He clearly sees a benefit in as a perceived martyr taking on Trump . So far it has worked out . He is now California's Senator which will pave the way for a future run for the WH .

We are told that all the pardons and clemencies recently by Quid Pro Joe are people who were sentenced ;served time ;were released to home custody during covid and are now model citizens who give back to their communities

Hidden in all the pardons are 2 Chinese spies and a relative of a CCP official
