Will Kam the Sham allow censorship to be enforced by Great Britain ?
'Cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play
And the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate
Baby, I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
I shake it off, I shake it off
    (Shake it off Taylor Swift)

But this is not really about Taylor Swift . She is really a victim . The news this week was that a concert of hers was cancelled in Vienna because a jihadist plotted to attack it and commit mass murder .

Organizers canceled three concerts, which were scheduled to take place in the European capital from Thursday to Saturday. CNN has reached out to Swift’s representatives for comment.

Investigators unearthed a stockpile of chemicals, explosive devices, detonators and 21,000 euros in counterfeit cash at the home of the main suspect, a 19-year-old ISIS sympathizer who had been radicalized online, according to authorities.
Taylor Swift Eras Tour: ISIS-inspired suspect planned suicide attack at concert, Austrian authorities say | CNN

This comes in the wake of a mass murder in Southport England that claimed the life of 3 girls and the injuring of 8 others in a knife attack .2 adults were also injured bravely defending the girls .

This happened at a Taylor Swift event at a dance studio.

The attacker was NOT Muslim. But misinformation about the attacker led to riots . (the person charged is a Christian born is Wales from Rwandan parents ) . UK is blaming social media for this .

UK's top prosecutor is cracking down .Rioters are being arrested . He has threatened to extradite social media influencers from outside the UK .

Top U.K. prosecutor considers terrorism charges over ongoing riots and disorder - CBS News

UK and EU have extradition treaties with the US . They both have so called "Hate Speech" laws . Most of US major social media have agreements with the UK and EU to take down content that is deemed misinformation by some bureaucrat in those governing bodies.

Elon Musk's X (Twitter ) is an exception even though he often complies with requests . But that is not good enough . So some MPs are calling for him to face the music. His crime ? He believes in free speech .

British MPs want to haul Elon Musk before parliament over riots – POLITICO

Do you have any doubt that American authorities ;who are inconveniently restrained by the 1st amendment, would export censorship enforcement ? They hate that Musk controls X . He is the only kink in the Censorship industrial complex .

Michael Shellenberger is a liberal journalist who is also a free speech advocate (like libs used to believe in the US before they became the authoritarian party . ) He explains that a future Kam the Sham- Tim Walz administration is a scary prospect for those who oppose government censorship. As I posted elsewhere ; Tim Weiz does not believe in the 1st amendment. Kam the Sham has only taken 4 brief questions from the press since she was emaculated .

It’s very different in Britain, which allows the police to arrest people for language considered “extreme.” And indeed the government just arrested three people for what they wrote on social media platforms, and it could arrest many more in the coming weeks.
You might not care about this because you don’t live in Britain, or you think social media should not allow the incitement of violence. After all, the ostensible reason for a recent riot was hate speech and misinformation on X.
But we have seen European, Australian, Canadian, and Brazilian governments all demand global censorship of social media platforms, and all of the social media platforms except for Elon Musk’s X have gone along with their demands.

Threat Of Joint US-UK Censorship Grows (public.news)

There is more to his comments but I am not a paid subscriber . But you get the idea. Free speech is threatened worldwide and Elon Musk stands as a bullwork against mass government censorship .

You see where it stands in the rest of the so called free world . Calling speech "hate speech" or " misinformation " justifies Orwellian censorship. Gone are the days of Brit author Evelyn Beatrice Hall who is quoted as saying I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

Yesterday Musk interviewed Trump on X . Reports vary widely about how many streamed the live interview. It went for something like 3 hrs .

Prior to that ;upon hearing that the interview would take place Thierry Breton, a European Commissioner. sent a letter that the EU could take legal action against Musk and X because it could incite violence in Europe.

This of course was nonsense and if official EU policy constituted election interference.

    The EU back tracked today

Musk is right. I was not planning on listening to a 3 hr interview between him and Trump . But the reaction of the compliant press is so negatively biased that I now have no choice but to take the time to see what all the fuss is about . btw . That is 3 hrs more time than Kam the Sham has had in sit down interviews . She even declined an invitation from Time Mag . Didn't matter 'they did a cover story puff piece about her anyway.

France is getting into the act. Trump made comments about a man boxing as a woman in the Olympics. The man ;Imane Khelif is suing

The lawsuit, filed on Friday with a special unit of the public prosecutor's office in Paris, stems from false statements that spread online about Khelif's gender identity after the Algerian boxer defeated Italian boxer Angela Carini in her first fight of the 2024 Olympic Games. Carini pulled out 46 seconds into the match and told reporters after the fight that she had "never felt a punch like this."

You see ;Trump made comments that he is a male. That is enough for the possibility of Trump being subject to extradition.

Variety also reported that author J.K. Rowling and billionaire and X owner Elon Musk were mentioned in the lawsuit.

"I am suing you because you referred to me as a 'male'."

"Well, you have XY chromosomes don't you?"

"So? What does that have to do with my internal feelings?"

We live in a strange world that is becoming stranger by the moment. But this could all be settled fairly quickly by this person submitting to a medical exam to check out his/her genitalia. If the plumbing goes in and not out, then the issue would be settled.

    Flashback 2014

Russian founder of the platform 'Telegram' 'Pavel Durov, left Russia because Russia was censoring the site

Not long ago, Mr. Durov, 30, was seen as Russia’s Mark Zuckerberg. He founded a social network, VKontakte, which is more popular in Russia than Facebook, and made a splash by publicly offering Edward Snowden a job.
Then the Kremlin tightened its grip over the Internet and President Vladimir V. Putin’s allies took control of VKontakte. Mr. Durov eventually sold his remaining stake for millions and fled Russia in April, after resisting government pressure to release the data of Ukrainian protest leaders.
Once Celebrated in Russia, the Programmer Pavel Durov Chooses Exile - The New York Times (nytimes.com)

But surprise surprise surprise. The west where he chose to emigrate has adopted authoritarian censorship. Instead of being arrested in Moscow, he has been arrested in France.

Telegram CEO Pavel Durov Arrested in Paris: French Media | TIME

The reported reason for his arrest is that his platform is being used as a vehicle for money laundering, drug trafficking and other offenses.

That's like saying Elon Musk should be arrested because someone used a Tesla to transport drugs .( ummmm don't give them any ideas Tom)

After leaving Russia he set up Telegram . It has been a venue popular by users who have been getting around the censorship of war news out of Russia and Ukraine . It is growing in popularity because it does not censor content .

Some would say that his real crime is not cooperating with the Censorship Industrial Complex .

Durov said in April some governments had sought to pressure him, but the app should remain a neutral platform and not a "player in geopolitics".

'I would rather be free than to take orders from anyone'.

America First Legal (AFL) has filed two FOIA requests with the State Dept regarding the arrest of Pavel Durov in France. They claim the Joe-Kam administration had prior knowledge that the arrest was to be made.

April Durov was interviewed by Tucker Calrson. He said that the FBI attempted to have Telegram give them a backdoor to the site so they could spy on users .

.......that would be a gold mine for snoops. To accomplish this Durov claims that they secretly tried to hire his engineer .

He also claims he was attacked in San Francisco when he was visiting Twitter founder Jack Dorsey. Now I don't necessarily connect that to anything except that anyone can be attacked in lawless San Francisco .

Brazil is shutting down X (Twitter ) . They can get away with that because President Lulu Da Silva is an authoritarian.

But that can't happen here because we have free speech guaranteed ......right ?

Brazil also has that freedom codified in law.

“Any and all censorship of a political, ideological, and artistic nature is prohibited.”
WHAT IS? ARTISTIC FREEDOM? AND CENSORSHIP? - Emergency Agenda (laut.org.br)

But that did not stop Lulu . Would our 1st amendment stop Kam the Sham from censoring ? Would it stop the deep state ?

Plenty of reasons have been given justifying the crack downs.....the Ruskies are coming.... national security...health crisis ...disinformation and on and on.

Zuck stated that Trump defiantly pumping his fist and shouting 'Fight Fight !' was the most "bad A$$ " thing he had ever seen. Maybe it gave him courage to fight.

But what will Kam the Sham do if elected ? She is owned by the deep state. She has in the past threatened to violate constitutional guarantees through gun confiscation. Her running mate Tampon Tim said "There's no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech, and especially around our democracy."

Evita said this to Rachel Madcow yesterday .

I think it's important to indict the Russians, just as Mueller indicted a lot of Russians who were engaged in direct election interference and boosting Trump back in 2016. But I also think there are Americans who are engaged in this kind of propaganda. And whether they should be civilly or even in some cases criminally charged is something that would be a better deterrence, because the Russians are unlikely, except in a very few cases, to ever stand trial in the United States

Does Kam the Sham endorse this ?

Former Brit PM Tony Blair thinks the Right should be censored in Great Britain

    From 2019

A new report for Blair’s think-tank, the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, says hard-right groups should be subjected to censorship even if they are not involved in any kind of violent activity. The report says the government should draw up a list of ‘designated hate groups’ — you mean a blacklist? — and these designated groups should be prevented from appearing in media outlets or engaging with public institutions.

The proposed revisions would broadly define “social media services” to include any service that enables online social interaction between two or more people, allows people to connect with users on sites that allows them to post material , as well as search engines and app stores. They also want penalties of up to seven years in jail for “hate crimes.” They would also penalize on line companies up to 5% of revenues for allowing what they deem to be misinformation.

Here in the US the House Committee on Small Businesses called out the government use of taxpayer money to support censorship.

    Their key findings

The Federal government has fueled a censorship ecosystem impacting not only individuals’ First Amendment rights, but the ability of certain small businesses to compete online.

The Federal government has funded, developed, and promoted entities that aim to demonetize news and information outlets because of their lawful speech, impacting domestic businesses’ operations, reputation, customer reach, and revenue.

The Global Engagement Center (GEC), an interagency body housed within the U.S. Department of State (State), circumvented its strict international mandate by funding, developing, then promoting tech start-ups and other small businesses in the disinformation detection space to private sector entities with domestic censorship capabilities. information is provided.

The National Endowment for Democracy (NED), a private non-profit funded almost entirely by Congressional appropriations, violated its international restrictions by collaborating with fact-checking entities in assessing domestic press businesses’ admission to a credibility organization.

    house_committee_on_small_business_-_cic_report_september_2024.pdf

    Their conclusion ;

The collaboration between the public and private sector to moderate certain content impacts not only the First Amendment rights of individuals, but the ability of businesses to compete in a free marketplace. This interference is especially harmful to small businesses, which need to be able to freely utilize all available avenues for growth. The ability to leverage various internet platforms is essential for competition in the modern marketplace. This manner of government interference results not only in economic harms, but also brushes up against foundational, Constitutional principles

The FCC is doing all they can to censor Americans . They have rubber stamped George Soros acquisition of the Audacy Radio broadcasting network that has 227 stations in 45 markets across the country . Many of the stations have talk format. (the station in my area is conservative talk ;and is to only one that does regular local news)

James Comer ;Chair of the Oversight Committee sent a letter of concern.

Despite the unprecedented nature of this action, the FCC majority has apparently decided to approve licenses on an accelerated timeframe for a company in which George Soros has a major ownership stake, and with stations in 40 media markets reaching ‘more than 165 million Americans,’” “By all appearances, the FCC majority isn’t just expediting, but is bypassing an established process to do a favor for George Soros and facilitate his influence over hundreds of radio stations before the November election.

And we’re going to have to figure out how we rein in our media environment so that you can’t just spew disinformation and misinformation.
