    Fetterman is right again.
He may be hopelessly liberal ;but lately he is more right than wrong.

The issue today is squatter's rights. His opinion ;they aint got none.

"Squatters have no rights . How can you even pretend that this is anything other than you're just breaking the law?"

John Fetterman Says Squatters Should Have 'No Rights' (newsweek.com)

He compared it with someone stealing a car and legally holding possession for months .

“It’s wild, that if you go away on a long trip, for 30 days, and someone breaks into ]your home and suddenly they have rights,” he sad. “This is crazy. Like if somebody stole your car, and then they held it for 30 days, then somehow you now have some rights?"
Fetterman blasts squatters, violent crime: 'I am not woke' (nypost.com)

This comes after the Washington Compost said that squatter stories are right wing talking points

The national conversation around “squatters” has reached a fever pitch in recent weeks, spurred by conflicts that have gone viral and legislative actions in at least four states.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) last week signed a bill aimed at giving Floridian homeowners, as he put it, “the ability to quickly and legally remove a squatter from a property,” while Georgia, South Carolina and New York have introduced legislation cracking down on people who illegally take over homes.

Squatting is extremely rare, according to experts — so rare that there is no reliable data available on the number of squatters across the country. But with a handful of high-profile cases of property owners going to court to evict illegal residents, a right-wing media frenzy and the introduction of state bills, the topic has become ubiquitous.
The truth behind the surge of squatter stories - The Washington Post

I don't know the situation in Florida . I know someone who was forced to pay rent for months in San Diego, after he moved out of an apartment ,because a squatter would not leave. The local laws were heavily stacked in favor of the squatter.

Talk about a chilling thought, it sure seems apparent that Sen. Fetterman is a more intelligent and reasonable man than either our pres or our VP.

It bears repeating. When Fetterman can give a FAR more coherent and rational interview than Biden, then the country is in trouble.

The man is on a role. He wisely is skipping the DNC as he has fallen out of favor with the mainstream radicals that run the party.

    He nails it again.

“If you’re rooting against the president, you are rooting against the nation,” “And I’m not ever going to be where I want a president to fail. So, country first. “It’s become maybe like a cliche … but it happens to be truth.”

Fetterman was invited ;and will go to Mar a Lago .

"I think that one, he's the president, or he will be officially," Fetterman said. "And I think it's pretty reasonable that if the president would like to have a conversation — or invite someone to have a conversation — to have it. And no one is my gatekeeper." ......

"I've been very clear that I have ongoing conversations with people that are going to have an impact on Pennsylvania and for the nation," Fetterman said. "And I am a senator for Pennsylvania, not just for Democrats. I am a senator for everyone in Pennsylvania."

He is beginning to amaze me . From a WSJ op ed about him being to lonely Dem because he is not the libtard everyone thought he was .

I first notice the walls. They are covered with 8½-by-11 images of Israeli hostages taken by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023. Atop each is a red banner reading KIDNAPPED. On one wall are images of those who remain in captivity; on the other are those who’ve been rescued or returned, alive or otherwise............

“Yeah,” he says, still not looking at me, and begins a minor harangue on the outrages perpetrated by—he doesn’t say Hamas—the Palestinians. “I’ve seen that video,” he says—meaning the video recordings compiled by the Israeli government of the Oct. 7 murders—“and I can’t believe”—he stops. “Where does that kind of depravity and that hate, where does it come from? Even the Nazis, with all their depravity, all their evil, they tried to hide those kinds of atrocities. These people filmed it with their GoPros, and they cheered like they scored a goal. In the videos they call their parents and they’re like, ‘Hey, I just killed some Jews.’ Where does that kind of hatred come from?”
He isn’t done. “That wasn’t just Hamas, either,” he says. Now he’s looking at me. “Let’s not ever forget the majority of the Palestinians support what happened.” Referring to the lurid ceremonies in which Hamas soldiers release hostages, Mr. Fetterman says, “Wow, you’re so tough, terrorizing a woman that you’ve kept in a tunnel for over a year. Like, you’re so tough with your s— rifles parading around. That’s why I’m always going to be on the Israeli side. All right?”
I nod, wondering if there’s more. “Yeah,” he says, “print that.”
John Fetterman on Being the Loneliest Democrat in Washington - WSJ

The editorial goes on the establish his liberal bona fides .

But he is rational and explains his position in a common person way
Twelve Democrats voted for the Laken Riley Act, requiring federal authorities to detain illegal aliens charged with crimes, but Mr. Fetterman was one of only two Democratic cosponsors, and he enjoys dwelling on the subject. “I was always very, and still am very, pro-immigration,” he says. But he asks what a “jury of 100 people in a Walmart parking lot” would think if he told them he favored letting criminals stay in the country illegally. “They’re gonna be like: Hell no, that’s crazy.”
The senator still holds solidly Democratic views. But the hoodie and the tats, which progressives took to signify revolutionary zeal, align him more closely with Walmart shoppers than with the Congressional Progressive Caucus or the Squad.

    .
Are you going to remain in your party?
“I feel lonely and I am struggling to find what the true North Star is as a committed Democrat,” he says. “I’m not changing my party, but what’s the way forward?” It’s a more substantive response than I thought I’d get. The words, unless I’m reading them wrongly, suggest that he may run as an independent. “Look,” he goes on, “I can’t follow every example of performance art because I try to be honest, and I don’t ever want to lie. But I’m trying to explain to people: America has made us”—the Democrats—“sit in the corner. Republicans don’t need our votes for many things. And now that’s where we are.”

So a year ago when Fetterman had his stroke the Dems said aint no biggie .No reason to be concerned about his mental health .

Now a year later ;as he has in some ways drifted from being in lock step with them ,suddenly his mental health is a legit topic.

It’s not clear to everyone who has worked closely with him that Mr. Fetterman's political transformation, or his current challenges, is directly related to the mental health crisis that first sent him to the hospital two years ago. But in his letter, Mr. Jentleson describes unstable behavior he says could be a result of the senator’s failure to follow the medical plan, including taking prescription medications, outlined then by his doctors.
“John has pushed out everyone who was supposed to help keep him on his recovery plan,” Mr. Jentleson wrote in the letter to Dr. David Williamson, the medical director of the neuropsychiatry/traumatic brain injury unit at Walter Reed. “We do not know if he is taking his meds, and his behavior frequently suggests he is not.”

He said in the letter that people around Mr. Fetterman often witnessed the “warning signs” his doctor had warned of, including “conspiratorial thinking, megalomania (for example, he claims to be the most knowledgeable source on Israel and Gaza around but his sources are just what he reads in the news — he declines most briefings and never reads memos); high highs and low lows; long, rambling, repetitive and self-centered monologues lying in ways that are painfully, awkwardly obvious to everyone in the room.”
He said Mr. Fetterman spent most of his time scrolling on his phone and formulating tweets, and that things with his wife, Gisele, were “tense.”

“He engages in risky behavior. He drives recklessly. He also recently bought a gun,” Mr. Jentleson wrote, noting that purchasing a firearm was a warning sign that he had been directed to report back to a medical professional.
Gisele Fetterman, in a statement to New York magazine, disputed the claims in Mr. Jentleson’s letter, accusing him of lying about her husband’s condition.

He SERIOUSLY considered voting to confirm Hegseth !!!! He supports Israel !!!!!! .....unstable behavior...... conspiratorial thinking, megalomania..... buying a gun . clear signs that his drift to the center ;often agreeing with conservatives is related to declining mental health and him being off his meds. OMG he tries to find common ground with the President !!! delusional !!

The Dems are jumping on the 'question Fetterman's mental health ' bandwagon.

A new AP report claims he had an "outburst " while meeting with PA teacher's union reps .

Before long, Fetterman began repeating himself, shouting and questioning why “everybody is mad at me,” “why does everyone hate me, what did I ever do” and slamming his hands on a desk, according to one person who was briefed on what occurred.
As the meeting deteriorated, a staff member moved to end it and ushered the visitors into the hallway, where she broke down crying. The staffer was comforted by the teachers, who were themselves rattled by Fetterman’s behavior, according to a second person who was briefed separately on the meeting.

Sen. John Fetterman has alarming outburst at meeting with union

This was one day after the New Yorker Mag hit piece on him. Teach him right for wandering off the Dem plantation ;and even worse ;supporting Jews. This is more hit pieces on his mental health than there were in the 4 years of Clueless Joe's reign before his debate with Trump exposed the obvious.

    Here is Fredo's take

"Fetterman has been reaching across the aisle too much for them. The senator crushes Hamas and campus protests, which, as we all know, is a pet project of the radical left. He met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago — that’s a huge sin.""And he worked with Republicans on passing the Laken Riley Act and voted for 10 of Trump’s cabinet picks. And now the senator is saying that Trump has keyed in correctly on the most important concern in our country: Helping the majority do better when it comes to workers and economic benefits.""Democrats, this is why you lost. You can’t cancel everyone who doesn’t hate the right and play by your stilted rules of purity."
