Ok. So where do you find moral permission for LGBT in the Ten Commandments?

if you cannot, then that cannot be your appeal to a moral standard, now can’t it?

There's no commandment to say it's wrong.

So that cannot be your appeal. It would be as silly as saying that rape is fine since it’s not prohibited in the Ten Commandments. That means you are still lacking a moral code that applies. Keep working.

You know and I know that you have only your own views.

Rape is prohibited in the Ten Commandments because the rapist is having sex with someone he or she is not married to, thereby breaking the sixth commandment.

Same is true of same sex relations. Same is true of all non-marital sex relations. I’m happy you have seen the light.

You are evading the issue. The moral code you said you appeal to says they are not moral. They are, according to you, breaking the sixth commandment.

That makes no sense. Who is not moral, and who is breaking the sixth commandment?

    Your own words.

having sex with someone he or she is not married to, thereby breaking the sixth commandment.
That would include same-gender sexual arrangements. Correct? Breaking the sixth commandment. Correct? All according to you. Correct???

And I covered that above when I wrote, "Same is true of all non-marital sex relations." The point is that the moral code you claim you subscribe to says that non-marital sexual relations are breaking a commandment. That was your statement and your assertion. Still stand by it?

This is why, dear WG, I believe liberals do not like to mention a moral code. It always ends up with them being painted into a corner that they find distasteful.

Yes indeed you were clear. I did not twist your words, I quoted them. "...having sex with someone he or she is not married to, thereby breaking the sixth commandment." So I will ask again. The moral code you claim you subscribe to says, according to you, that non-marital sexual relations are breaking a commandment. That was your statement and your assertion. Still stand by it?

Clearly the point of this cartoon op ed is missed. Disney franchise was built on turning folk tails like Grimms Brother's into cartoons and movies that the majority of the movie going crowd could watch and be entertained.

The dwarfs and Cinderella were characters in Grimms Brothers stories. Disney turned those stories into content. It was a model that worked because it was clean entertainment that the majority could relate to . Disney had a brand that was successful for multiple generations. Then they forgot who their audience was.

Last quarter Disney lost $659 million.

As WSJ wrote.... 'When revenue is declining anyway, it doesn’t help to alienate half your audience with political posturing.'

In its new rendition, the seven dwarfs are recast as “magical creatures” of various races and ethnicities, and Latina actress Rachel Zegler reprises the princess whose skin in the Brothers Grimm tale is “white as snow.” There’s nothing wrong with casting a diverse crew, but Disney is refashioning a classic fairy tale merely to virtue signal.
Consider its 2017 live-action remake of “Beauty and the Beast,” which recast Gaston’s sidekick, LeFou, as gay. A 2022 Toy Story spin-off, “Lightyear,” included a scene of two lesbians kissing. The scene had been edited out but was restored after enough Disney employees complained that it had been “censored.”
The Disney+ streaming service warns that animated classics such as “Dumbo,” “Peter Pan” and “Jungle Book” include “negative depictions and/or mistreatment of people or cultures” that “were wrong then and are wrong now.” Thanks for the trigger warning, but most parents don’t need to be hit over the head with things they already know. Yet that’s what Disney’s newer films, along with most Hollywood productions, do: They hit you over the head with left-wing cultural mores—over and over again.
Wokeness Hobbles Disney as It Faces the Streaming Challenge - WSJ

For sure Disney has made other mistakes like bungling it's entry into streaming ;and carrying brands like ESPN that are outside it's successful model. But it's biggest blunder is to try to force fringe ideas down our throats . The little success they have had in streaming is parents choosing to show their old classics to the next generation. That should give them a hint about what they got right in the past ;and what they are doing wrong now.

Disney classics are classics because they discreetly impart virtues through parables. The mirror on the wall dubs Snow White the “fairest one of them all” not because of her skin color, but because of her magnanimous character, which she demonstrates in her kindness toward the dwarfs.

One of the trivia questions that would stump was naming the dwarfs. Hint ..... Not one of them was named Sleezy..

I don't know that it's a business model for Disney as much as the world view of those who run the place. When they put out a movie, it has basically become a propaganda effort to convert the unwashed masses to their enlightened point of view. They sat on the movie Sound of Freedom for several year until the makers of the film managed to gain access to it and release it through a different company. It passed 100 million in revenues last week, so Disney made a foolish decision from a business perspective.

The owners and the boards make the business model . If managers are not following the model they should be dismissed. That largely happened when they brought back Bob Iger for a 2 year restructure. Iger thinks it is a structure problem due to streaming failure and park upgrades . He is ignoring woke content . As an example ;he is scrapping the very popular Splash Mountain ;which was based on the now controversial 'Song of the South ' (watch it if you can find a copy . It is delightful) . It is being replaced by 'Tiana’s Bayou Adventure' ;a water themed ride based on 'The Princess and the Frog'. Tiana is an African -American princesses.

Why Splash Mountain closed at Disneyland, World; what's replacing ride (usatoday.com)

Iger will select the next generation of Disney Execs . If they continue to go woke they will go broke.

Walt Disney World closed its version of the ride on Jan. 22. There are currently no plans to change Splash Mountain at Tokyo Disney Resort.

The really startling thing about that cartoon is that it would have made no sense to anyone ten or fifteen years ago.

Evidently, it is acceptable in public libraries to have drag queens appear, but not acceptable for accomplished actors and athletes to come to read to children. How on earth did we end up in this situation? Let's see if the people of Huntsville will get this sorry state of affairs corrected. Perhaps Kirk Cameron could try dressing up like a street walker and Riley Gaines could insist she is actually a male cowboy. Maybe then they'd let them in?

Just two days ahead of a planned stop at Madison Public Library in Huntsville, Alabama, on Saturday, actor-writer Kirk Cameron, along with his publisher, Brave Books, and special guest, women's sports advocate Riley Gaines, have learned that they will not be welcome due to the library system's concerns about logistics and safety ahead of the gathering.
The Huntsville-Madison County Public Library System said in a release on Wednesday afternoon that it can no longer accommodate the book reading event. The Brave Books team said it is challenging the conclusion.
In a press release, the library system said, "The Moms for Liberty organization had planned to feature Brave Books in a meeting room at Madison Public Library [this coming Saturday]. Due to the event’s anticipated attendance increasing beyond the Library’s capacity, the Library will be unable to host the event."
