    Gavin's conundrum
What to do ? On the ballot in California is prop 30 .It is a bill that would raise state income taxes to 15.05% ;(the highest state income tax in the nation ), to subsidize EVs . You know he wants it . It is right up there with his utopian dreams of no gas cars in the state.

BUT the California Teachers Association and other wealthy lefty donors oppose it . They don't want to foot the bill for low income transportation . Already he is seeing wealthy Californians fleeing the oppressive taxes they pay in the state . One of the hardest things to find in the state is moving companies that are not backlogged ,and moving truck rentals.

So he has come out against a bill he would've normally endorsed. Screw the barely making it Lyft drivers . They are on their own. Good luck buying the vehicles that the state mandate you need to do your job.
