Time for the Canadian truckers to go home .
I fully supported the protest convoy. They made their point .

But now they have stayed in Ottawa and their protest has morphed into an appearance of one of the lefties occupy protests. I did not support the Occupy movement in major US cities when the lefts did them and do not support such protests when the cause is one I agree with.

I think that's a fair statement, though they are, so far as I can see, not actually "occupying" anything. I imagine they are aggravated that their protest has yielded no tangible results other than making the issue more visible. The only real solution is at the ballot box, or in mailing in suspect ballots.

There are extremists in every movement willing to go too far . If the movement turns a blind eye and does not self-police then a movement gets defined by the extremists.

Completely agree that those things should stop immediately. The leaders of the protest need to come out strongly against it.

I'm a little less concerned about that. The "lots of reports" deal has been used frequently when the person can't point to a single specific instance, and especially of assault. But as it happens, the cops should deal with it for certain.
