Rust coming out of one pipe
Have an old house with a previous owner installing copper plumbing throughout. I had one bathroom completely renovated (down to the studs and subflooring) and the plumbing seemed fine. Since the bathroom has been finished, the shower/tub will push out VERY brown rusty water for about 3 seconds and then it washes away to regular water. (the tub faucet only, NOT the shower head)

I assumed that it would work itself out, but it has been doing it for a couple months.

The shower/tub faucet was never used prior to renovation, so I don't know if it existed before I moved in.

Any ideas would be great. Thanks!

I think the previous owner replaced 99% of your pipes with copper. You probably have a bib or stop somewhere that is still galvanized. It likely will not work itself out compltetely if I'm correct. My basement laundry tub does the same thing after I replaced 99% of the pipes.
