I can't help but believe that those members of this group were appointed by pols who, for whatever reason, have many of them in their back pockets. It's just the nature of politics. Our independent prosecutors probably try and do a better job, but even that gets saturated with politics before it's over. A small, clearly focused government was, in the view of our founders, the best answer to corruption. Sadly, we have gotten far away from that.

Having business relations with China is not a problem. There is nothing at all illegal about it. Having business relations with China and then, from what the evidence certainly seems to say, lying about it is certainly a big problem.

Ivanka had legit business dealings in China prior to Trump being President . There would be nothing illegal with Hunter having business dealings either . However if he got those dealings by leveraging his father's position in government in exchange for favors or advantages that his father can give ;and giving kick backs to his father then what we are looking at is racketeering . Hunter's emails more than prove that relationship with revelations of at least a 10% kick back to Quid

I believe that Hunter left his computers in the shop because he wanted secretly wanted this to end. He is a conflicted man . On the computer is clear evidence that he is troubled by drug addiction at a minimum . But I have no proof of intent . The proof now is with the Justice Dept. backed up by eye witness accounts by a former business partner who was a Naval Officer .
