When is the best time of the year to buy a new car. If I choose to purchase a used car what should I be aware of? Thanks Team.

New cars are best in July with big model year end insentives. The bestest time is right after new years where it's month end, and fiscal year end.

You may want to look for a lease car or esp rental cars that come back to the dealer. They have great maintenance records. Also look for a used car that has a warranty that comes with it.

Try the tips found at the forums in Inside Line: Forums. For example: The Toyota Tundra (2000-2006) have depreciated more because of the recent completely new type of Tundra being offered this year. The older Tundras have great features and value, but you are getting a better deal (if you shop around) and remind the seller the "value change" when a new Model is being offered. How much are you willing to spend? I got a great 1991 Volvo for $2000 ( with complete records of maintenance back to Day one, at a Certified M. shop) 2 yrs ago. I own two other Volvos (1987s). If you Google "Volvo, brick, forum") you'll the most helpful sites for solving any kind of Volvo problem. This is a big advantage. Its also "hard to go wrong" buying an older Lexus or Camry.

I trade in my old car last year. It gave me headache and not to mention the money I spent on the repairs. So I decided to scrapped it before it drains my wallet. Now, I'm driving a new volvo but just recently I have to buy for some volvo OEM parts for car upgrade.
