    1991 honda accord won't start
I have a 1991 honda accord ex. I was driving the other day and it just stopped running. This is not a timing belt or distributor problem. After the car sits for a while it would start again. I ran codes on the ecu and it said 43. Fuel supply system. I have fuel going to the fuel rail. I know sometimes the code 43 can mean an O2 sensor. I replaced the densor and now the car won't start at all. It is now displaying a code 0. Which is for the ecu. Anyone that may know anything please let me know.

If the ecu is bad it could give wrong codes.I have a 93 accord with the same exect problem.if the distributor and fuel system is fine then it would be the ignition relay.what happens is that the solder cracks and when it heats up it seprates and kills the engine.

Run the K-Test on your ECM.

The K-Test: Remove the MAP Sensor connector and turn the ignition switch to ON (not start). Using a multi-meter, check for 5 volts going between the MAP Sensor connector's reference wire (+) and ground. As you look at the connector, this is the socket on the right. Really press the black test lead into a cleaned main ECM ground on the thermostat housing. If the voltage is low, it's probably indicating ECM failure. Most failed ECMs will record a fraction of a volt. To me, the K-Test is simple, elegant, and accurate.
