    Low water pressure
We live in a subdivision that uses city water. I have called the city about low water pressure and have checked the valve into the house and it is fully open. We have extremely low water pressure in the showers only. Sinks, washing machine and tubs is fine. It is just the showers. I have replaced shower heads to no avail, any suggestions? This is very frustrating

    Thanks,
    Melissa

Sounds like the inlets of the shower valve are restricted.

You can usually clear them by turning the water off for the house, removing the shower valve cartridge and then flushing the valve body out by turning the main back on in short bursts.

    iamgrowler,

That sounds like such common sense, can't believe I didn't think to try that first. Thanks for the input, I'll give it a shot.
