    Flushing State Select PR6 40 NOCT971 52 water heater
    I am trying to flush the water heater but cannot locate the nozle to connect the hose to on the outside of the tank to drain the water

    Item 12 on page 2

    Its a valve with threads that connects to your water hose. Exactly the same way you connect it to your outside water valve to water the grass.

    Since you are flushing the tank, should just need to open the valve and flush sediment out for about 5 minutes... all that is usually necessary. Let water run out full flow/full pressure into a drain or the yard until water runs clear.
