I wonder if anyone can help me please! Me and my fiancé are trying to have a baby and the last 2 months my period has been very irregular after 5 years of being at the same time!!
Last month my period was on 29th march and a week ago I had a brownish discharge thought it may have been a sign that my period was due but nothing yet! Also I have been feeling sick to the point where I have been about be bee sick but nothing comes up (sorry)

Any advice weather I'm in early stages of pregnancy or I'm being stupid?

It sounds like you could be pregnant. When is your period due? You should take a hpt first thing in the morning! I'm sure you will probably take one asap, but that can be frustrating because many women won't get a positive until a week late for your period or longer. Set a date for when you will allow yourself to take a hpt, and make sure you use first morning urine. If you get a negative, don't get discouraged. I didn't get a positive until I was 10 days late. My period is due 29th of month I don't want to get my hopes up at all so I'm trying not to think about it too much thank you for the advice, means a lot to me.

Pregnancy is always a possibility when you are having sex, protected or not. However, much to all women's disdain, the only way to know for sure is when you get that positive or negative test result. Some women swear they know the moment that they conceive. Others don't have any symptoms for months, or even at all, and the only way they even find out they are pregnant is a late period and that test result.typically you won't experience symptoms until that first missed period or a bit later(because it takes time for the hcg to build enough to cause symptoms). However, every pregnancy and every woman is different. You definitely could be pregnant, but it could just be your body gearing up for your period as well. Good luck and let us know the results

Thank you very much ill keep my fingers crossed!! I will let you know I will take a hpt a week after my period is due!!
Hope I get a postivite result. Also me me and my parter do make love does it matter if when he comes inside me and then pulls out a little comes out? I elavate my legs so it helps the flow.

I have now missed 2 periods, I had brown discharge in feb but my last proper period was in jan 14th, I did a test 2 weeks after the brown discharge it was negative then I dad another one 1week later it was positive then I done another one just to be sure it was positve. I went dr they said I was 10wkspreg but did not feel my tummy. Then I had cramps a week later dr examind me and thinks I'm am 14 weeks pregnant. Got to have scan tomorrow. But good luck to you.

I was just reading along the post and saw that you had another question. It is okay for some of the semen to come out. Elevating your hips is good. Even though the semen comes out does not mean that the sperm are. Sounds like you are doing things right.

On another note... today is April 26th and you aren't due for you period until April 29th. Three more days to go. That said, please try to stop stressing yourself out over this. I know how difficult the wait can be, but for your own health you really need to find something to occupy yourself with. If you aren't pregnant and you obsess over whether you are or are not pregnant can delay your period, causing more stress. As exciting as it is to be pregnant you don't want to get your hopes up until you get the definitive positive or you could find yourself having a very difficult, and possibly even depressing, time for what could be several months to a year. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, but in the mean time take a bubble bath, read a book, and relax! Let us know how things go. Also, if you haven't gotten your period on the 29th just remember that being a couple of days late is normal for any woman! Just stay relaxed! If you don't get your period mark on the calendar the day you are going to test. Then you won't think about it quite so much. Don't even buy the test until the night before. It really does help!

Just thought id give you all an update I'm now 7 days late had had light spotting really really light, is that just my period or can I still be pregnant? I'm a bit scared to test as I don't want to get a negative result stupid I know!!
I will do in a weeks time if haven't got my period!

Any advice?

You could be pregnant but don't get your hopes up.. Just relax! I had brownish discharge and I thought I was pregnant but wasn't brown discharge can be spotting but spotting is actually very rare but can happen in early pregnancy. My brown spotting was due to a ovarian cyst, I thought I was pregnant and wasn't, my period was late and is always irregular but this time it was spotting. I went to the hospital and they checked me for a ectopic prengnancy, and said that I was fine and NOT pregnant. I finally found out that you can bleed (old blood) brown blood for no reason or for a cyst..

I wish you luck in your pregnancy keep us upadated.. My period has been irregular for a while now, years. The doctor sais my period is so irregular because I gained a lot of weight over a short period and so now I can go months with NO period. I am trying to lose weight to get my period normal again. I have also been through a lot of cysts that have went away on there own. I started spotting brownish blood, light for a few days and then light pink for a few days. I thought I was pregnant from reading tons of forums online but I got my hopes up. I was told by my doctor that spotting in early pregnancy is rare and effects only 1o% or less in pregnant women.. Anyway spotting brown blood can be from being over weight, health problems, pregnancy, cysts, fybroid tumors or it could be just a NORMAL period. If you have stomach pains it can be cysts as well. My period only comes once in every 3-4-5 months and my doctor told me that I am not ovulating and it will be hard for me to get pregnant until I lose the weight.
