I hope they had insurance. I'm not ready to go as far as a cyber attack though given Russia's credibility for 'accurate' reporting on their own failures. Budget cuts and human error? Sound more like Washington than Moscow.

Hey Clete, it's a cold morning here, and I have only just now had my first coffee, but I don't understand why you wouldn't take The Dufus at his word when he said he didn't collude with Russia to become president.

I know you think he had to have help, that the American people couldn't be that stupid, but you have to get over it, they are. I don't believe anything the man says, that doesn't mean I have to believe what others say about him for political purposes.

Let's start that he colluded with the Russians, just because he and Vlad have a bromance, look, I don't doubt various foreign powers mess around with reporting of events, but do you seriously think that the Russians influenced the outcome? Hilliary lost because her power base was in the wrong place, she just has to get over it

A side issue for me but, this cyber wars is the main concern, and whether we are prepared to meet this new challenge. I am not ready to dismiss so easily though the notion that Trump would throw anyone under a bus, and deal in the dark to win whatever he wants, which is power and money, a very old story, as well as LIE about it which is something he has always done. I reject the notion that Hillary should get over it, our system doesn't work that way, and she is no longer in public life, save for hocking a book, but the resistance to Trump is very real and how that plays out we will soon see.
What disturbs me more is Trump focusing on tearing down everybody that's involved in this investigation while failing to even acknowledge the cyber war at all. Sure we are as capable as anyone and maybe the rest of the world is catching up to us in capabilities to hack into systems, steal stuff, and disrupt them, but that just means we have to get better at it. It's all about technology for me, and who has it, and how it's used.
I think it would be game over for us if the generals weren't very involved in the Dufus's administration, and whether this collusion thing is real, or not remains to be seen. Doesn't look good for the Dufus from what I have seen, with many of his sycophants being shown to be more corrupt than any I have ever seen, and you have to hope justice will prevail.
Bottom line, MUCH MORE will be revealed later. There has already been enough scandals for me and the INCOMPETENCE of his hand picked flunkies is more than glaring and outrageous. I have no doubt he is the flim flam con man and even a casual observer can see that from his history, but we should all be concerned with the way Vlad got into the system to put his finger on the scales, in MANY of our electoral races, not just for president, and it's eerie to me that not one repubs was hacked as well, THAT WE KNOW OF.
Obviously this is not just a bromance between world leaders! Fact is you don't know what these two are up to, but don't seem to want to know, but the evidence against The Dufus is compelling and not so flimsy as to be just dismissed at this stage.

One of my Previous jobs was as a Satellite Network controller...(RIF due to corporate buyout and consolidation) so I can grasp all the things that can go wrong that can land it in a non-geosynchronous orbit... or one that can have it come crashing back down or render it just more useless space junk. Not much room for error.

They have been launching satellites for a long time, they would have had systems in place to check

Yeah but accidents happen... humans were involved after all. Remember NASA and the mars Probe they made a crater with?

And remember what the problem was? They didn't MISS mars... they impacted it at a really high speed. Human error.

Human error.. it happens no matter how many safeguards you have. That's what it has in common. Humans were involved.
