Water on floor after taking shower
I have replaced shower curtain and made sure when taking shower it is pressed against wall but I always have puddle of water on floor? What are my options to stop water from leaking out when using the shower?

First of all we need to know what type of shower you have. A custom tile shower or a manufactured base and enclosure. Is this a first or second floor shower? Back to you. Regards, Tom

This doesn't answer my question. You have a tub and shower. So far so good. Now, what covers the walls? Plastic enclosure? Tile? Cheers, Tom

The first thing I would check is the tile grout where the stream hits the wall. Tile grout will shrink with age and allow water behind the tile to seep to the floor. Aay to check would be to tape plaswtic on the wall the shower stream hits and let the shower hit the plastic. Any water on the floor? Now remove the plastic and do it again. Let me know, tom

As far as I can tell, the water goes under the toilet base and finds its way through the floor by way of the hole...

1st floor ceiling leak below 2nd floor shower [ 2 Answers ]

Our ceiling has developed a swelling or bubble in the ceiling and when touched-it literally fell apart and created a hole. It is dry to the touch but happens to be right in line with our 2nd floor master bedroom shower where the plumbing probably comes down. The shower has a plastic floor with a...

2nd Floor, Floor drain backing up with water in restroom [ 1 Answers ]

I have a second floor restroom at my workplace and there is a little bit of water backing up and some sewer gas smell. There is rarely anything that goes down that drain but there is a little water in it that I can see. Also it seems that the urinals in the same restroom are draining very slowly....

Shower floor [ 1 Answers ]

I am replacing a pre-fab shower with a larger, all ceramic tile shower. I know the flooer must be sloped toward the centre drain before tiling. My question is; what material should be used to make the slope before installing the membrane. Motar or thinset? Please let me know. Thanks Randy395
