Can a monetary judgement take money from a credit card. I would like to hear from anyone other than fr. Frank.

No. They can't take money from your credit card.

Fr Frank is our local parish priest, Too many come here wanting to hear what they want to hear, when you give plain facts, not sugar coated, you offend some. I went though about a two week period of many not wantint to hear the truth, And of course at times I give a little moral value talk along with an answer as to what they should do also.

But no they can not take money ( charge to your credit card) for a judgement, now it is very likely once your credit cards see you have a judgement and your credit score has lowered, they may lower your available credit amount so you don't have the available credit you used to have.

You got the correct answer from Chuck, but I'm curious as to why you don't want advise from him.

I agree with fr. Chuck. They can't take money from your credit card for a judgement. Other credit cards may increase your monthly interest charge if they see a judgement on your credit report.
