McCain does his 6 year stint as a go along to get along with the Dems Senator ;and then in year 6 campaigns as a hardcore conservative . That would not surprise me . McCain sent a staffer to London to pick up the Steele dossier so he could leak it .That is undeniable .McCain was rightly chaffed by herr Donald's comments about him on the campaign. McCain can obviously hold a grudge .

I saw them huddled together on CSpan last night right before he gave the bill a thumbs down. Even Mitch knows he saved the repubics arse on this one, because despite the agonizing humiliation of defeat, this was a lousy unpopular bill, that did nothing to improve the lives of their constituents. Just the opposite is true and destroyed the private insurance market, more than Trump is already doing.

I don't like it .Our public discourse has gotten cruder over the years . But in the last few years it has been a national disgrace (although it is probably true that in the past ,the press had the good sense to not quote every vulgarity ).It is not just Scaramooch (can you do the fandango) .
