    Ceiling Fan
    Overhead fan not working. Neither the light nor the fan work. Guess will check connections. Hard to believe both pull chain switches are bad at the same time. Your suggestion

    Good morning Pastor,

    You are correct, the chances of both switches being knocked out at the same time are slim. Not impossible but slim.

    Start with the circuit. Is there anything else on the same circuit as the fan and if so is it working properly? If the answer is "No", check the main panelboard and make sure the fuse/breaker has not tripped.

    Next step is to drop the fan and check the feed into the fan to verify that it is correct.
