I want to know how much I owe to Georgia department of revenue
I fied my taxes where I live now in Colorado and my taxes were approved but I also got a note stating that I owed Georgia department of revenue and I would like to know how much and for what exactly. So that way I know exactly what I will be getting back. It's the weekend and would like to get an answer today about this instead of having to wait until Monday.

If you lived, in GA, during last year, no matter if you live in CO now, you still have to file GA income taxes also. Did you do that. The only way you would owe GA taxes?
So you merely need to file your GA taxes to know.

Both Fr Chuck and MA0641 have valid points: you have NOT provided enough information for me or any other tax expert to answer your question.

For 2106, where did you live and where did you work, and how much did you make where you lived and worked?

Who sent you the note that you said you received? I know if you use a tax program like TaxCut it asks whether you've moved in the last year, and if you provide the details of when and where you moved it will remind you that you may have to file tax returns in both states. Is that the source of this note?
