    2 Cold air returns in each room.
    I have just purchased a home that has two cold air returns in each room. One at ceiling level and one at floor level. The one at floor level has a lever to adjust the flow. How do I adjust these. I assume that they should be changed with the seasons.

    Yes I checked that out. The duct comes from under the floor and up the wall to each one.Chuck

    I've never seen a layout like that, at least in Atlanta. Might be a regional thing. I have seen "jump ducts" that look something like that. Look it up.
