    Jet pump on and off
We just had our 20+yr old jet pump and pressure tank replaced with a new 3/4 horse power jet pump and pre-charged pressure tank (factory assembled). It seems to cycle on and off about every 2 hours or so whether used or not is this normal?

You may have a slow leak in the foot valve or piping to the house, possibly leaking flapper in a toilet.

If you can, cut off the water to the house. If the problem goes away, then the problem is towards/in the house. If it continues, then it's probably a leaking foot valve.
