 I have a honeywell programmable thermostat RTH230B, and I'm using (2) new NiMH AA 2100mAh Re-chargeable batteries and I'm swapping them every few days. What's up with that? It only has a little clock and starts the heater when it needs to.Is this normal? Reply to >Removed< Thanks

 I've just started to have a problem with my thermostat losing battery power. This is actually shutting down my heat. I have put fresh batteries in twice over the last two weeks, reprogrammed the thermostat - only to have it happen again today. Is this the thermostat going bad?
