My mechanic recently done a service on my honda ballade luxline 1992 160i engine. After completion he start up the engine. The car was in park and when he take his foot off the brake the moves forward. He then do some alterations by the gear shifter cable and damage the cable in the process. The gear lever now only shift from park to reverse and stuck there. I can't get it into drive. Can somebody please tell me what the problem is and how to fix it. The gearbox never gave me any problems in the past and their was nothing wrong with it when I took the car in for a service.
