Why does my new sink smell like Magic Marker when I turn the faucets on?
I installed a little bathroom vanity with a new sink about 5 months ago and I've been noticing it smells like some kind of chemical or gas when I turn the faucets on. Not all the time though. But sometimes really strong. I googled Nd asked a few people and they mention sewage smell etc... But I've smelt that before and this isn't the same. Anyone know what this could be? It's a basement apt.

Worried Me and my cat are breathing in toxic air or drinking bad water. It's only in this one bathroom of all the sinks etc in the house.
