Parts needed for 1930's Standard toilet
My mother has this 80 year old Standard toilet. I was lucky to find this picture in another post. I need to find the offset pipe that joins the tank to the toilet. I want it to look original. Can anyone tell me where I could find this pipe with the associated hardware. I also would like to replace the fill valve and flush valve. Will modern hardware work for this? The tank is relatively tall. I am just hoping there is someone here that is familiar with this very old model toilet. I live a thousand miles away, so I would like to gather all the materials to get this thing back in operation for her on my next visit. Thanks for any help!

A Fluidmaster fill valve should work.
You will probably have to replace entire flush valve and overflow pipe.

That piece is probably called a offset tail piece.
Measure the diameter and length and visit local plumbing supply house.

    Shop on line.

Google it. There is tons of suppliers who sell parts for vintage toilets. You just have to find it by brand and style to match your toilet.

If you are on the West Coast, try George's Plumbing Supply in Pasadena, Snyder Diamond, Waterworks, Restoration Hardware, or Larry & Joe's Plumbing in San Fernando Valley. One of them should have it.

However, American Standard is still in business. How about contacting them, directly. They should be able to help you. See info below.

Everything else should be easily up-gradable with readily available parts

Let us know how you did

Thanks for the good feedback hkstroud & Milo. Sorry for the slow reply as I have been on vacation. I was afraid parts were going to be harder to find, but I think I have now located everything. Next trip back up to Ohio I will have it working again. Thanks again.
